Determination of Variability in Ambient Conditions During Cold Storage of Aronia Fruits

In this research, temperature and relative humidity in a cold store with an evaporative cooling system were investigated during one-month storage of Aronia melanocarpa Nero fruits. Ambient measured by sensors at 36 points for different levels (top, medium base level). The research was carried out accordance the randomized plot design purpose storing +3oC 1 month. results evaluated using variance analyses descriptive statistics. addition, spatial variability maps created evaluating variation levels. Variation determined between 3.40oC 5.32oC top level, 3.80oC 5.49oC middle level 3.92oC 5.51oC 3oC temperature. Coefficient variations as 11.47% 11.48% 7.10% bottom values changed 74.00% 88.09%. Mean coefficient varied 3.22% 4.43%. According to results; distributions not uniform. Reason high measurement distribution air. air ventilated evaporator distributed according (dimensions, shape, materials) placement fruit cases. Different conditions fruits research. there is generally one temperature/relative sensor located back door inside used control system. Measurement from point enough give idea about ambient store.
